The left sidebar contains Wedding Events; all upcoming Bridal Shows/Expos, as well as Trunk Shows. Below this, you will find all Wedding Services listed by category.

Once a category in Wedding Services is selected, you will find several filters on the left side of the page. You can search by region or county as well as several other filters which are specific to that vendor category. Kris founded unKAGed events after planning her own wedding. While planning events for friends, family and within her activist community as a side hustle for over a decade, Kris has also been a marketing executive, nonprofit event coordinator, farmer, and music festival planner. Kris’ background gives her a unique perspective on each wedding she plans, and her attention to detail is second to none.

While planning her own wedding, she struggled with being told what she could and could not do. She helps couples who want to break free from the wedding rules “cage” (unKAGed is a play on her initials as well as her approach to planning and design) and really showcase their personalities.

Leah McDaniel is the Owner, Creative Director and founder of Black Swan Floral Design (formerly known as Black Sheep Gardens) – a floral design studio in Upstate NY. The business started as a collaboration with her mother, Pamela Miller, who owned Black Sheep Barn and Gardens – an organic flower and vegetable farm (of 30+ years) in West Chazy, NY.

The mother daughter duo decided to combine their talents and enthusiasm for art and nature by focusing on event design in upstate NY and VT. Aromas Boutique Bakery offers custom cakes, catering and corporate gifts. Founded by sister duo Jo-Ann and Chef Eileen Barett, Aromas is committed to all natural food and a great experience for its customers.

From 2004 when the sisters first ventured into the food industry, they have offered custom food programs, catering and a wonderful array of desserts including gluten free, sugar free and vegan options.

Chef Eileen is classically trained and holds a Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management degree from the Art Institute of New York. Both Chef Eileen and Jo-Ann hold Bachelor’s degrees from Tufts University. To date, Aromas has expanded to teaching culinary arts and nutrition to young people and college student.

When I started the business in 2009, I had a purpose in mind. I felt like far too many people miss the small moments of beauty in their lives, instead thinking too much on the negatives in the world. I wanted to capture these moments of beauty, joy, and heartfelt emotion to help remind people of all the good that is out there. I feel like I have begun to accomplish that over the last few years in business, and want to work more to meet that goal. Additionally I have come to love the families who have me back to photograph their journey year after year. . . from engagement session, to wedding, through maternity, and first newborn, and sometimes for babies #2 and #3. These relationships are what makes it all worthwhile for me.

The moment when the bride laughs at what her groom has whispered in her ear, the fleeting expressions on a baby’s face. . . capturing these requires quick thinking, an understanding of light and equipment honed so well that it becomes instinctive. Alison is a New York City-based professional harpist with over 18 years of experience providing beautiful harp music for both grand and intimate celebrations including weddings, receptions, engagement parties, anniversaries, showers, bar/bat mitzvahs, birthdays, holidays, corporate events, social events, fundraisers, art openings, yoga classes, theatre productions, recordings, and more…

Playing in private homes and banquet halls for individuals and corporations, Alison adds elegance to every occasion. Harp music can fill a garden or reception hall with melody and gently underscore a quiet ceremony.

Alison plays a full-size orchestra “pedal” harp and a smaller “levered” harp. Alison performs as a soloist or with duos, trios, and other ensemble combinations showcasing instruments such as cello, violin, flute, guitar, or voice. Alison plays a wide range of music from classical, pop, and jazz standards to Irish tunes.
